We built up our bikes and riding around the town to feel Brooklyn. Nemo suggested me to go Father Knows Best where Chris(one of the nicest dude I’ve met in NY) works. They have nice back yard where you can park your bikes and, yeah they have hammock back there as well. The food and the trip coffee we had was great too. We rode around Red Hook and ended up going to RHC pre party at Deluxe Cycles again. It was completely packed and it was hard for me to breath in there. Though, it was great to meeting new cyclists living in different city. And that pizza we had after the pre party was da bomb!!
On 2nd day morning, I was searching online for a bike shop around to get Jerry a lock ring. I hit up my friend Nemo and he got me some cool spots we should check out, including one of the bike shops called Deluxe Bicycles. Jerry, Izzy and I were riding around the street and we couldn’t find any bike shop around that address. Well, that was the first time I’ve seen a bike shop located in 2nd floor, without elevator. Yes, no matter what kind of bike you have, you need to walk through and carry them to the upstairs.
It was worth to carry my heavy bike to upstairs. It was one of the coolest bike shops I’ve seen in the US. If you ever happen to visit New York, this is a must stop spot.
