Had a blast sunday morning cyclocross ride with two friends named David. Both of these guys love riding dirts. Thanks for taking us to epic dirt ride around Powder Canyon David Kwon. Im definitely looking forward to try on next ride with these guys.
I had some epic adventure ride with old friend Brad and Rob. Brad owns a Road Runner Bags company and he asked me to ride and take some photos for his upcoming ‘SED hydration pack‘. SED is ‘thirst’ in Spanish. Yes, this bag is made for hydrate. It doesn’t look too much MTB hydrate bag, yet look more in style. The bag comes with very useful features and I really liked the whistle on the chest strap for emergency situation. Will definitely try out again to go ride some gnarly dirt ride soon. Thanks you Brad!!
Kjeld(superdomestic) took us to some of his favorite trails in LA. Even though he’s oldest of us, he totally destroyed our legs. Yeah, age is just numbers. I rarely ride around LA area, and didn’t even know there’re beautiful trails here. Thank you for taking me to part of great route in LA, Chris and Kjeld.
2nd day at Bakersfield, Vegas(Albert V.) took us to the foothill trail again to show us his favorite route. There’re tons of different trails and you can make your own but, i would strongly recommend you to have someone lead you for the first time ride here. Again, we def shredded again. Thought it was gonna be a recovery ride but I was totally wrong.
Overall, the trip was truly awesome, had great time with great buddies.
We’ll come back!
I had short trip to Bakersfield to check out some bike shops and ride some CX. Baskerfield is one of the most very interesting city I’ve visited in the US. Lot of nice trails and friendly people here. That foothill trail was a pure fun.
Fullerton loop is a awesome ‘adult playground’ and It’s one of the most well known for MTB courses in OC. Overall, the course is ‘mild’, lot of people do jogs and hikes here as well. I think the course is perfect for who just started cyclocross ride. Nothing really technical here, but they do have plenty of fun elements, like jumps and walls. Definitely cross friendly course. If you want to try, you know where i am.
