I’ve been driving to work since i graduated school, which is over 10 years, minimum 15-20 miles one way. When I used to drive to work, it took me about 45 min to an hour. Now I live in Orange County and work in Los Angeles. Driving is still taking about an hour one way, in the morning. After work is more like chaos, hell. Specially on friday, I tried to pick up my kids in La Habra one day, which is little over 20 miles from LA and it took me over 2hours. Wage do nothing. It’s more like I was stuck in gigantic parking lot.
The more I drive to work, the more I think it’s not worth driving around in LA in the traffic. Nowadays, there’s traffic everywhere and anytime. I take metrolink to L.A. Union Station and transfer to purple line to Korea Town. If you purchase metrolink ticket, you also get a free day pass to use metro all day. For some of you, it may cheaper than spending money on gas and parking.
If I don’t sweat much, i would even ride to work daily, but it’s not gonna happen any of you saw how i sweat.
Drive less, ride more people.
